A Long Night

We had a very long night last night in the PICU after Gracie's surgery -- vomiting, having some pain and wanting to go home. She slept very little. We are told to expect more of that today. We should be moved out of the PICU and into a long-term room late this afternoon.

Gracie has been receiving all the e-cards and loves them!

Thank you for your prayers. We continue to need them.

Hey guys,
I know it is stressful to see your baby hurting, but know she will be pain free soon. Leave it in God's hands to heal that sweet baby. My prayer group is working in your behalf now and for many weeks to come. Loads of love headed your way.

We have been thinking about you guys and were so happy when Ana was able to give us the link to Gracie's blog. Please know that your brave little girl is in our thoughts. Let us know if we can do anything to help!

Hi kids, I know you hurt each time Gracie cries out, but each time she does, ask God to relieve the pain and in time it will be so. It doesn't keep you from hurting and she may not feel it immediately, but in God's time, all will be well. I pray for relief for all of you. Much love. Genice

I am so sorry to hear that Gracie had a rough night. I am thinking of her often. She is such a strong girl, I know she want let this pain keep her down for long. When she feels better let her know that I am counting down the days to see her.
I hope Gracie is able to rest so hopefully you and Doug are able to get some rest yourself.

Please give Gracie lots of hugs and kisses from me.

Love, Christy
